Former model Tyra Banks has stripped – sort of – to promote the upcoming season of her talk show.
Posing in New York’s Union Square, Banks stripped to promote the move of The Tyra Banks Show to the CW network – the same network that airs Banks’ America’s Next Top Model reality TV contest.
Tyra stripped down to her knickers, actually a body suit, and said her new season would be about “celebrating inner and outer beauty and owning and rocking what you’ve got”.
Banks has always been outspoken about women’s body images and the media’s perception of them.
A few years ago, several celebrity publications ran some rather unflattering pictures of Banks in a bathing suit.
Afterward, she went on her own media campaign to respond, saying things to the effect of, “so what.
