A stunning Jennifer Lopez was treated to a second lavish birthday celebration by husband Marc Anthony with a star-studded bash at a New York restaurant.A teary-eyed Jennifer arrived to crowds of well-wishers and a guest list including Madonna, Beyonce, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Mary J Blige, Ricky Martin and Liza Minnelli.

Clearly overcome by the occasion, she welled up – almost spoiling her immaculately applied make-up.Jennifer arrived with her husband to a surprise party called ‘An Evening With Lola’ – Anthony’s nickname for his wife – which was held at the Edison Ballroom.She entered to Sarah Vaughan’s Whatever Lola Wants – but apparently got upset when some of her guests were late to the exclusive dinner.

A source told the New York Daily News: ‘Jennifer’s party was very intimate, and there were a noticeable amount of empty seats when the dinner started. Jennifer was really irritated.’She was fuming because people were late, and complained about it really loudly to Marc,’ said one partygoer, who added, ‘Jennifer was visibly upset and embarrassed.’

The top secret party was attended by the showbiz world’s biggest names, but they had their phones and cameras confiscated for the night.Madonna and Rihanna got the dancing started as they took the floor to hip-hop classic It Takes Two by Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock.Notable absentees were Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and David and Victoria Beckham.Anthony later took to the stage to sing a special song in Spanish, and an emotional Lopez continually burst into tears of happiness.
