We will all remember J. D. Salinger as the author of “Catcher in the Rye”. The Seattle Post recognizes the Catcher in The Rye to be “one of the most influential novels in modern American literature.
Although his Salinger’s work was highly anticipated, he was a simple man, who separated fame and fortune from the love of his writing.
