It seems there is already drama stirring up on the set of “American Idol” between Simon Cowell and Ellen DeGeneres. Simon arrived more than 90 minutes late to the first taping of the show, causing Ellen and the other judges to waste their time waiting for the veteran judge.

People in Britain are always complaining how skint they are – and then go throw away what little dosh they have by backing the Grimes twins to win X Factor.
It emerged this week that the twins were both born three months premature – which you have to say is one hell of a coincidence – but whoever is backing them must have been born yesterday.

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres will sit alongside Randy Jackson, Simon Cowell and Kara DioGuardi as the new American Idol judge. Ellen will add in her unique perspectives as the fourth judge when season 9 of American Idol premieres in January.
This announcement from Fox comes about a month after Paula Abdul stated that she will not be returning to the show.

Pixie Lott has been billed as the British answer to Lady Gaga – and it seems the teenager is taking the comparison to heart.In a new shoot for men’s magazine FHM the blonde pulls some sultry poses worthy of the American sensation.In one shot, the 18-year-old lies on her back in a black rubber leotard, clinging to her red leopard print heels.
In other photos Pixie lies becomingly across a pair of amps, with her eyes covered in lashings of eye liner.Despite her tender age, the teenager stars on the front cover of the magazine.Pixie, from Brentwood in Essex, found fame with her debut single Mama Do which sold 200,000 copies and entered the charts at number one.
Unsurprisingly, Pixie isn’t her real name. American Idol and X Factor judge Simon Cowell was determined to buy the perfect birthday present for Alexandra Burke – who found fame after winning the UK TV talent show X Factor last year – and knew she had her eyes on a padded black Chanel handbag.
Even though the pricey accessory has a year-long waiting list, Simon managed to charm his way to the top.
Alexandra, who turned 21 on Tuesday, was speechless when Simon presented her with the gift.
“Alex was in tears,” a source said.

The ‘My Life Would Suck Without You’ singer, who won the first series of the US TV talent show in 2002, will appear as a guest judge at an audition next week.
