It’s been just days since singer Rihanna’s former boyfriend Chris Brown was sentenced to five years probation and community service for assaulting her but, despite fears that the scandal might harm her image, it seems that she is bouncing back better than ever.The 21-year-old has returned to television screens as the face of CoverGirl just months after an ad campaign featuring her was pulled.

The make up giant stood by Rihanna after Brown was arrested after the attack on February 8.However the ads were deemed inappropriate when a picture of the singer’s bruised and battered face was posted on celebrity gossip site TMZ.The campaign, which contains the slogan ‘turn up the light in your eyes,’ has now been reinstated and is currently being shown in the US.

It shows the stunning star smiling happily whilst donning a gold mini-dress and fishnet tights.Earlier this week Brown was ordered to stay at least 50 yards away from the Disturbia star for the next five years except at public events, where the distance has been reduced to ten yards. Rihanna is not allowed to contact Brown either.

He will be formally sentenced in August and must also complete a year-long domestic violence course and pay fines.The Barbados born beauty spent weeks in hiding after the violent incident but has begun restoring her public life in recent months and is looking better than ever.The star’s bruises have long since healed and her flawless complexion is back to its best.She has been throwing herself back into work since the incident and recently teamed up with rapper Kanye West in the video for his new track Paranoid.

Deal Reached In the Chris Brown Case

Chris Brown copped a plea deal in his assault case. He has managed to avoid any jail time and was sentenced to five years probation for felony assault to which he pled guilty, 180 days of community service, and he must stay at least 50 yards away from Rihanna.
