Reese Witherspoon Arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Husband for DUI

Reese Witherspoon acted like anything but America’s Sweetheart to police in Atlanta early Friday morning, as both the actress and husband Jim Toth were arrested during a traffic stop.

Sources tell TMZ officers pulled over the couple’s Ford Fusion because it was weaving in and out of lanes.

As the cops spoke to Toth, Witherspoon reportedly pulled out her fame card, telling them:  “You’re about to find out who I am … You are going to be on national news.”

While Toth was booked for drunk driving – allegedly blowing a .139 on a Breathalyzer – the Oscar winner grew visibly frustrated with the ordeal, getting out her car on multiple occasions and eventually being arrested for disorderly conduct as a result.

Jim and Reese were both taken into custody and released a short while later.

The police report describes Jim’s eye lids as “droopy” and his eyes as “blood shot and watery.” The officer o the scene also detected a “strong odor” of alcohol emanating from Toth.

Brandon Marshall Accused of Punching Woman in the Face at Club

NFL star Brandon Marshall has been accused of – and denied – punching a woman in the face at a New York nightclub despite detailed reports to the contrary.

According to reports, the wide receiver was outside a club in Chelsea around 4 a.m. last Sunday morning when he got into an argument with a group of people.

He allegedly threw a punch that connected with 24-year-old Christin Myles.

It’s unclear at this time if Brandon Marshall intended to strike the woman … or if she was collateral damage as Brandon was trying to KO someone else.

Either way, Myles says she suffered a black eye and filed a police report.

According to the New York Post, Myles was nervous about filing because of Brandon’s high profile status, but ultimately she decided to go through with it.

But Marshall’s lawyer says the 6’4″, 230-pounder did NOT strike Myles, however, claiming she was hurt in a DIFFERENT brawl that went down at the club.

Remind us never to go out to said unnamed club.

BTW: Marshall was just unloaded by the Miami Dolphins in a trade to the Chicago Bears for a couple of draft picks. Nicely played by the ‘Phins.

Michael Lohan was high and playing Spiderman when he was arrested a second time this week

Ah, bless the Lohan family for they never cease to entertain us. Remember just the other day when Michael Lohan was released on bail and told never to even dream of Kate Major (or kicking her vagina, they’re one and the same)? Well, Lohan violated the probation just hours after the court order and was subsequently arrested. But, and this is where it gets hilarious, he attempted to escape by pulling a Spiderman and ending up with a broken foot and an injured tongue. Apparently gauging distance when drunk and on meth (we’re assuming it’s meth because it runs in the family) lands you face first on patio furniture instead of leading you to freedom.

“I saw a subject on the second floor hiding behind a pillar,” the police report states. “I yelled the def’s name and told him to come down and talk. This def tried concealing himself a little more but decided to run up a stairwell as we approached him.
“As we went out to the balcony to look around, we saw the def fall from a 3rd floor balcony next to the one we were standing on. The def apparently leaped up from his balcony and grabbed a hold of the roof. He then must have scurried across the roof (about 30 feet) until he thought he was hanging over top of the next balcony. The def then let go but missed this balcony.
“He came crashing down on top of wooden high chairs that were laying on the ground. This fall was 34 feet (measured with laser). The def then hid in some trees directly below where he was apprehended.

Taylor Armstrong Black Eye Photos: A Hoax?!?

Taylor Armstrong reportedly pocketed $125,000 for selling photos of herself in the hospital, as the result of an alleged beating at the fists of Russell Armstrong, to Entertainment Tonight.

But as shady as that move may be, an attorney for Taylor’s late husband has made an even more startling accusation: Ronald Richards says the pictures are a hoax.

Richards says Taylor’s black eye may be real, but it was NOT caused by his client. Instead, the lawyer cites plastic surgery as a possible basis for the marks.

“If Mr. Armstrong was the cause of those injuries he would have been arrested and prosecuted,” Richards tells TMZ, highlighting the fact that Taylor never filed a police report.

However, friends of this Real Housewife scoff at the notion that Taylor conjured up the story. They say she avoided any legal repercussions because she was afraid they’d result in her getting fired by Bravo.

Moreover, one friend claims, the photo above is nothing compared to others that exist – and may get published in Taylor’s upcoming book – because those make Rihanna’s bludgeoned face “look like child’s play.”

Teen Mom Amber Portwood Attempted Suicide

The events on Teen Mom are frequently troubling, but today things took a particularly tragic turn when Amber Portwood reportedly attempted to commit suicide. According to the police report, a caller said Amber “was depressed and threatening to end her life. The victim, who did not appear to be injured, was transported to a local medical facility for further evaluation.” A source says that the call was placed by Gary Shirley’s mother, and that EMTs found her semi-conscious will a rope loosely knotted around her neck.

A source said Portwood, the mother of two-year-old tot Leah, was found just after noon on Tuesday. The source said Portwood later admitted to hospital staffers she had taken a cocktail of pills.
Portwood’s on-again, off-again boyfriend Gary Shirley became concerned about Portwood’s state of mind after having a phone conversation with her, the source told Star.
He sent his mom to check on her.
After being let into her home, according to the source, Portwood was discovered unconscious on a couch.
“It’s believed she may have taken an overdose of some kind of pill,” the source revealed. “She also may have tried to tie a piece of rope or string around her neck.

Amber’s brother, Shawn Portwood, says, “Amber told us she had a panic attack last night after Gary began calling her names, telling her he was going to take Leah away from her … He’s verbally abusive to her. Our whole family thinks he’s the reason behind all of Amber’s problems.” Shawn says no one called Amber’s family when she was taken to the hospital, and suggests that Gary may have tipped the tabloids because he’s still trying to win custody.

At risk of overstating the obvious, if she seriously wanted to die she’d let Gary be on top for once.

But MTV, now it’s time to get that child of hers into a stable adoptive family. I’m not one to firmly believe that having dysfunctional parents automatically makes one a dysfunctional person, but I can’t help but imagine poor Leah on year 2024′s season of Teen Mom. Oh wait, that just means a future star to line the MTV CEO’s pocket with gold. Carry on then.

Malcolm at the End – Frankie Muniz Hit His Girlfriend Elycia Turnbow

Frankie Muniz allegedly put a gun to his head and threatened to pull the trigger during a fight with his girlfriend Elycia Turnbow at their home in Phoenix, Arizona on Friday night. I guess he wanted to make a stand that she was not the boss of him, now… More like “Napoleon Complex in the Middle”. Amirite?

100 bucks says he will be joining Macaulay Culkin in a Barcelona sex club by Friday and then Charlie Sheen in rehab on Sunday.

TMZ reports:

TMZ obtained a police report filed in Phoenix, AZ last Friday. According to the report, Muniz and his girlfriend, Elycia Turnbow, were arguing in their home about “prior relationships.” Elycia told cops, Frankie “grabbed a gun and held it to his head, possibly with the intent of committing suicide.”
Elycia says she became worried and called one of Frankie’s bandmates to take him to the hospital.
Frankie tells a different story, claiming Elycia was screaming and yelling at him when he “fell and hit his head.” Muniz says that’s why he went to the hospital. Muniz denied putting a gun to his head, but did say, “I grabbed the case, but not the gun … it isn’t even loaded.”
In fact … the cops did find the gun and it was loaded.
Muniz was released a short time later, went home, and just after 10PM the same night, things exploded back at the house. According to the police report, Elycia says, Frankie “punched her in the back of the head, and threw her into a wall while in the downstairs bedroom.”

I know exactly what you’re going through. Women just don’t understand­. No one does. But If you ever need to talk, grab a drink or yell at some prostitute­s, I’d be more than happy to help you get through this.

Lindsay Lohan Too Busy To Return Necklace

Lindsay Lohan Too Busy To Return NecklaceLindsay Lohan was too “busy” to return the necklace she has been accused of stealing.

The troubled actress – who is currently on probation stemming from a driving under the influence conviction in 2007 – has been accused of taking a $2,500 necklace from upmarket Californian boutique Kamofie & Company and claimed she tried to bring it back to the store but did not have time.

According to a police report obtained by gossip website TMZ, Lindsay’s assistant said: “Ms. Lohan was in possession of the necklace and wanted to give the necklace back to the store the day after she took it from the store, but she was very busy.”

We intend to challenge the prosecution’s case because the truth is, Ms. Lohan didn’t steal anything.

Lindsay has pleaded guilty to felony grand theft over the incident, with friends insisting she was allowed to borrow the necklace, but the store later changed their mind after she failed to get them publicity.

While the 24-year-old star’s team have been trying to agree a plea deal over the case – which counts as a breach of her probation – her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley believes the charge is unfair as she disputes the estimated value of the piece of jewellery.

Shawn said: “We intend to challenge the prosecution’s case because the truth is, Ms. Lohan didn’t steal anything. But even if she had, it seems to me that the appropriate charge, based on the fair market value of the goods, should have been petty theft and not grand theft.

“A $5 lump of coal with a $2,500 price tag is still a $5 lump of coal.”

Lindsay must return to court on February 23.

Lindsay Lohan Goes on the Defensive, But is Willing to Accept a Plea Deal

Naturally there’s more drama in the latest Lindsay Lohan Is Going to Jail story. The jewelry store that charged her with grand theft for swiping a necklace says that she walked out of the store wearing a pair of earrings just a day before the incident in question. Lindsay’s new defense is that the jewelry store’s story has been inconsistent. The police report has the owner of the store on record saying surveillance footage shows Lindsay putting the necklace in her purse, but the official version of the story is she walked out of the store while wearing it. One thing is for sure, one of these parties will win, but we’re all going to lose.

LiLo’s attorney also spoke to CNN today, and even though Lindsay is a perfect little angel being framed by a wicked jewelry store, she is willing to consider a plea deal if it will keep her out of jail.

“Ms. Lohan maintains her innocence, and now that I’ve seen the police reports, I believe the case is entirely defensible,” (Lohan’s attorney) said. “Having said that, we will entertain a discussion concerning a plea if it means no jail so that she can move forward with her recovery and her career.”

And just to prove people really are crazy, the white “Glavis” dress that Lindsay Lohan wore for her latest court date yesterday (yes, the one that looked like a doily that shrunk in the crotch) has become so popular that it is completely sold out, according to it’s designer Kimberly Ovitz. Let’s see if she’ll have the same effect on orange jump suits in a month.

At the end of the day Lindsay could have avoided all this trouble by just calling me. I would have given her a pearl necklace gratis. Goes great with black too.

Lindsay Lohan’s Hit and Run

Lindsay Lohan has been accused of a hitting a woman pushing a baby in a stroller with her car. Which sounds pretty serious.

Brayan Jaime says that he was at Lindsay’s West Hollywood apartment yesterday, working his very first day on the job as a freelance paparazzo, when he saw it happen. Jaime spotted Lindsay in her Maserati pulling out of her apartment building, then running a red light and making a left, right into the stroller.

Jaime says it was “full impact … It was a major hit.” Jaime tells us the bumper struck the nanny in the leg and hit the stroller “in the middle, knocking 3 of the 4 wheels in the air.”

Jaime says the baby was crying. We asked Jaime about the video his friend shot seconds after the alleged incident — in which the nanny is strolling along, seemingly unaffected. He said, “She was in shock and Hispanic so she was scared.”

No police report has been filed. As for why Jaime didn’t call the cops, he said, “I should have. I’m not sure. I didn’t want to get involved.”

Charlie Sheen is an Overgrown Frat Boy

For some reason, Charlie “The Bitch Slapper” Sheen has been keeping a fake ID in his wallet. He claims was made for him “on the set” of one of his projects, but we know why! That way, when he gets arrested for punching his girlfriends in the face, he can give a fake identity and run away.

In the police report documents, filed by the cop who arrested Sheen after the Christmas Day incident with his wife Brooke Mueller in 2009, it says Sheen was ordered to hand over his ID. But the officer explains that when Sheen handed over the California driver’s license, Sheen told the cop, “It’s fake, I had it made from someone on the set after I lost the real one.” The cop says he then “confiscated the license.”

It’s a state crime to possess a fake California ID and Charlie Sheen hasn’t been charged with anything yet. If it were up to us, he’d be treated like any other college asshole: raped by the police chief and then Ice him, bro!
