Jake Gyllenhaal is learning how to grow up with the help of the kids in his life.
“I’ve learned so much from the kids in my life, and somehow they just become the center of your life and the way you look at things,” he told reporters at a press conference for his new film Brothers in reference to his niece Ramona,3, and girlfriend Reese Witherspoon’s children, Ava, 10, and Deacon, 6. “Obviously I exist in my girlfriend’s world and my sister’s world in a different way, but it’s opened my heart and I feel much more grown up and want to be grown up as a result of it.”

The 28-year-old actress, who posed with author Waris Ahluwalia at the event, showed her support for the book, which is a scrapbook of personal stories and photos to support the victims of the Mumbai attacks of November 2008.
Earlier today, Entertainment Weekly released exclusive photos of Natalie and costars Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire in Brothers.
The film, which opens December 4, is about a woman whose husband goes missing in Afghanistan and how she turns to her brother-in-law for support.

The “My Blueberry Nights” babe looked a bit stressed out by the paparazzi as she hopped in a cab and drove off into the night.In related news, Miss Portman recently signed on to star in the stoner/medieval comedy “Your Highness” along with “Pineapple Express” stars Danny McBride and James Franco.

The “Rachel Getting Married” actress stepped out for the annual Tony Awards in New York City, looking fine in a black strapless, tutu-style dress and some super high red pumps.In movie news, it is being reported that Miss Hathaway will be teaming up with Jake Gyllenhaal once again for a flick called “Love and Other Drugs,” an adaptation of Jamie Reidy’s nonfiction book “Hard Sell: Confessions of a Viagra Salesman.”
Gyllenhaal would play a role based on Reidy, a Pfizer drug rep who romances a Parkinson’s patient played by Hathaway.
