Enjoying a swanky evening out, Ashlee Simpson was spotted dining at Il Sole restaurant in West Hollywood last night (June 3).
Joined by a gal pal, the “Pieces of Me” songstress looked a bit sad as she left the restaurant, carrying a doggie bag back to the carAnd though there have been rumors regarding an alleged incident between Ashlee and actress Michelle Trachtenberg at the DJ Hero event earlier this week, Simpson’s rep says don’t believe the hype.
Speaking of a supposed Simpson drunken verbal attack on the “Gossip Girl” star, Ashlee’s rep stated, “It was just a misunderstanding. Ashlee has since apologized to Michelle, and they remain on good terms.”

The Mean Girls star’s behaviour has been increasingly erratic since her relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson came to a dramatic end two weeks ago, sparking concerns about her mental state.However her mother Dina, who attended the party with her, described the controversy as ‘ridiculous’ before revealing that it was she who persuaded Lindsay to post a good-humoured spoof singles ad on the Funny Or Die website that mocked the break-up.
‘The hype is ridiculous so we decided to kind of make fun of it,’ Dina is quoted as telling Entertainment Tonight.’I said ‘Lindsay let’s just do funnyordie.com and just kind of make fun of it all.’ It’s really gotten out of hand, the rumors and everything that they’re saying about myself and my children.’Last week, Lindsay marked her tumultuous time by getting a new tattoo inspired by tragic Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe.
