Malcolm in The Middle star Frankie Muniz is now a drummer for an unsigned band called You Hang Up. The 24-year-old stopped acting in 2008 and became a professional race car driver and now he is adding drummer in a band to his resume.
“This is something I have always wanted in my life, and I’m thrilled to be associated with such a great group of guys!” Muniz wrote on his Myspace page after he joined the band in late December.
You Hang Up is a Phoenix-based four member band who has done several concerts this year with Muniz.
In 2004 Muniz told Entertainment Weekly that his close friend Zac Hanson, drummer of the brother trio Hanson, taught him to play the drums.
“My best friends are Hanson,” Muniz said at the time.
