Rachel Christie withdrew from the title. Christie, who was the first black woman to be crowned Miss England, stepped down following her arrest over an alleged fight with Miss Manchester Sara Beverley Jones in a nightclub.
Contest organisers announced her place was given to first runner-up L/Cpl Hodge, who will now represent the country in the Miss World Final in Johannesburg, South Africa, on December 12.

Reality star Kim Kardashian loves to toy around with new looks and her latest fashion shoot proved no exception.The 28-year-old, who stars in the US television show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, dressed up as a high-fashion Barbie for Australia’s Kurv magazine.While there was no pink in sight – the iconic plastic pin-up’s trademark colour – she did wear a tumbling blonde wig while attempting to emulate doll like poses.
She tweeted about the experience earlier this month, writing: ‘I’m shooting a Barbie themed photo shoot today with famed photographer Tony Duran!She raved: ‘These looks are crazy!’There’s the baby shower I have to plan, the baby is coming,’ she said.’All this stuff is going to take so much time and it’s going to be exciting at the same time.’
During a recent shopping trip to Bel-Bambini childrens boutique in West Hollywood, she also told friends and fans that she was finding it difficult not knowing what sex the new arrival would be.’I found that really hard,’ she says.

She’s made quite a name for herself with her “Dancing With the Stars” gig, and last night (March 19) Julianne Hough gave back to some kids in need.
The beautiful blonde ballroom dancer was spotted performing at the Children’s Miracle Network Celebration at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.And while her dancing skills have helped increase interest in the “Dancing” competition, there’s at least one star who is staying away from the show for fear of being compared to Miss Hough.
