Daniel Craig is “downright goofy,” says his “Defiance” co-star Live Schreiber.

The actor – who reprised his role as British agent James Bond in “Quantum of Solace” – is nothing like his cool on-screen alter ego.

Liev explained to TV show “Entertainment Tonight”: “We had a lot of fun, which was important because what we were doing was really quite somber. Daniel Craig is far more entertaining and just downright goofy than I think most people think he is, and that’s a result of that Bond thing he’s doing.”

The World War II movie, based on Nechama TecCast’s book “Defiance: The Bielski Partisans,” tells the story of three Jewish brothers who join together in a bid to avenge the deaths of their closest relatives at the hands of the Nazis and end up helping countless other persecuted Jews in their quest.
