When hundreds of people lined up for a casting call for the next season of Tyra Banks’ “America’s Next Top Model,” a fight suddenly broke out in the crowd.
“Everyone got thrown everywhere,” New Jersey Model hopeful Annina Manttari told The New York Times of the stampede outside the Park Central Hotel. “People were getting run over.” Three people were arrested, six were injured and New York Police were forced to shut down the auditions when it was all said and done.
There’s still no word as to why the fight broke out. According to the “Today Show” this morning, Tyra herself expressed her “concern” over the injured people.
